The second floor of the knife specialty store [Sakai Ichimonji Mitsuhide], renovated and reborn as the event space [Ichitoi ICHITOI], will be newly opened.
Starting today, October 1st, a variety of events designed to create the future of food and tools together with the local community will be held sequentially.

What is ICHITOI?
"ICHITOI" is a space that disseminates new experiences, dialogues, and insights from Douguya-suji, which has supported Osaka's food culture through tools for over 100 years. We aim for a sustainable food culture while conveying the appeal of Japanese-made knives, which are globally recognized alongside Japanese cuisine.

For the talk show, we'll be inviting popular comedian Koga Ken!
We'll have an engaging discussion with the third-generation president, Tanaka, about his valuable experiences as a chef and the future of Japanese food and tool culture.

Koga Ken
Born in 1979 in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture. Tokyo NSC 7th generation, affiliated with Yoshimoto Kogyo.
As "Oideyasu Koga," a duo with Koga, I participated in M-1 Grand Prix 2020, becoming the first unit of solo comedians to reach the finals and achieving second place.
My family's izakaya has been in business for 100 years, and I myself trained as a chef for five years at a Japanese-style creative izakaya.
